Platinum Games’ Kenji Saito talks Kill la Kill and Beserk Games

Kenji Saito has tweeted that he wants to make a Kill La Kill and Beserk game!

In a tweet response to a fan asking about potential Gatchaman and a KARAS game adaptations, Platinum Games’ Kenji Saito has shown his interest in creating games based on the popular Kill La Kill  and cult classic Beserk anime series. If you don’t know who Platinum Games are, they are currently working on Star Fox Zero and Scalebound and in the past, have given us the beautiful Bayonetta 2. If this isn’t enough to tantalize your gaming taste buds, Saito is also the man who directed Metal Gear Rising: Revengence.

Considering the sword slashing, action packed nature of both Kill La Kill  and Beserk, could this be a match made in heaven? Even though the potential for something great is there, for now nothing is set in stone.

What do you think? Would you be interested in games based on these iconic anime franchises? Do you think Platinum Games is the right studio for it?
